Harvest Kids at HBC provides care and spiritual direction for children from birth to Grade 5 (inclusive) concurrent with our weekend worship services. Our objective is to supplement and support the primary leadership of parents and guardians in the home, by providing a learning environment that supports the four pillars of Harvest Bible Chapel. We seek to fulfill the four pillars of Harvest Bible Chapel in a way that is engaging for children at various stages of physical, mental, social and spiritual stages of development. Our mission statement is to glorify GOD by leading CHILDREN to HIGHER GROUND in their relationship with JESUS CHRIST

Our Values:

The acronym C.L.I.M.B. clearly defines what is important to us.

Communities
We want to help children establish God-centered relationships with other peers, adults and family members. Acts 2:42 (Fellowship)

Love:
We want our children to be loved and to provide opportunities for them to lovingly serve the church and community.
1 John 4:7-8 (Service)

Imitate:
We want to see our children being imitators of Christ as they are discipled from the Word of God.
Ephesians 5:1 (Discipleship)

Magnify:
We want our children to magnify Christ through worship and prayer.
James 5:16; John 12:32 (Worship/Prayer)

Boldly:
We emphasize the importance of our children living out and boldly sharing their faith with others.
Romans 1:16 (Evangelism)

Early Childhood (Toddler - SK)

Children from Toddler through Senior Kindergarten will discover what the Bible says as the bedrock of our beliefs as followers of Christ. Children will have opportunity to learn, worship and explore in both small and large group settings through relevant, purposeful and engaging activities.

Grade School (Grades 1-5)

Grade 1-5 students discover how and why they should build their lives on the Rock: Jesus Christ! Grades 1-3 and Grade 4-5 classes start with some activities. From there they move to the Youth Room for a time of large group worship, followed by a time of teaching from God's Word. The morning wraps up with a small group discussion, a time of prayer and memory work. On the last Saturday/Sunday of every month, we give students in Grades 4-5 the opportunity to attend Worship Services with their parents in the main worship center so that they can experience worship and teaching with their larger church family, with a view to making this eventual transition easier.

Nursery (Birth - 24 Months)

This is our community for children from Birth to Age 2. It is our goal in this ministry to help children and families understand that Jesus needs to be the foundation for life from the earliest days in the church. Children will see the love of Christ gently modeled through volunteers who care for their needs, simply share God’s word and through the safe, fun, environment in which they play and learn
